E-Med will be an in-person medical-themed hackathon in the Bay Area. Join us for twelve hours of making projects, connections, and positive change in our communities. No prior coding experience? No problem! We'll provide any and all support you'll need to have fun and leave with a new skill.

(Don't worry, there's no actual hacking involved!)
A hackathon is a social event where people get together to code awesome projects in a limited time. E-Med Hacks will welcome beginners, experts, and everybody in between!
Learn Something New
We want to make sure that everyone leaves with something new on their toolbelt! You'll have the change to participate in a variety of workshops among peers (or host your own!), learn new skills, explore your potential, and build lasting connections with amazing people. The E-Med team will be cheering you on every step of the way!
Build Amazing Projects
Are you going to assemble the perfect team, or work by yourself? Will you be building software or hardware? From robot arms, to cancer detection models, to goofy simulations, there's no limitations on what you can make at a hackathon; just your creativity vs the twelve hours! We can't wait to see what you got.
Create Amazing Memories
Whether it's your first or your fifteenth, hackathons are always wildly fun! It's all about bonding over coding, brainstorming, and free-food-fueled teamwork. From new knowledge to new friendships, the memories you make in these twelve hours will be as awesome as the projects you create!

What do I need?
Your laptop, chargers/cables, anything for your hack (hardware?), water bottles, and all the creativity you can find!
How much does it cost?
Nothing! We’ll have meals, snacks, and beverages onsite at the hackathon, as well as swag, prizes, and fun mini-events.
I'm not that good at coding...
E-Med is for hackers of all skill levels! We'll have workshops, tech support, and all the things you'll need to learn something new.
What can I make?
Anything! Apps, art, sites, and hardware projects are all perfect for a hackathon.
My parents are worried!
We're here to help, ask them to reach out to us at team@emedhacks.com and we'll make sure to answer all their questions. E-Med will be supervised by background checked adults.
